Close to My Heart is a direct-to-consumer business, and we wanted to create a product that would keep customers engaged and coming back each month. To achieve this, we launched the Craft With Heart monthly subscription program, designed to boost recurring sales. Our first offering was a scrapbook subscription kit. As an added bonus, each subscription included 30 free photo prints through our print partner, Persnickety Prints, making it easier for customers to overcome the hurdle of printing photos.

After a successful year with the scrapbooking subscription kit, we expanded the program to include a cardmaking subscription. This kit provided everything needed to create 24 cards—stamps, envelopes, die-cuts, and embellishments. Additionally, each kit featured an inspirational art print with marketing material on the reverse side.
